Euro Cup 2016: UEFA European Football Championship

he fifteenth edition of the Football European Championship (UEFA Euro 2016) is fast approaching and France finished preparations to host the first tournament of 24 teams. The first two of six groups of four teams automatically qualify for the next round, as well as the best third places.

There has been some concern that adding more participants could lower the level of competition(UEFA Euro 2016), especially in the group stage and round of 16, but it is expected that new faces are level and are able to fight the teams most recognized .

France is among the favorites to lift the cup in their land, as they did in the 1984 Football European Championship (UEFA Euro) and World Cup 1998. There are a lot of intensity in the French squad, and also the advantage of playing the tournament at home is another reason 'Les Blues' will be a very difficult team to beat.

Germany, the world champion, will look to win their fourth Euro in the European summer and is another team that sounds like favorite to take the Football championship. For the friendlies and qualifying matches they have lost since the World Cup against Argentina, Poland, the United States, the Republic of Ireland, France and England, one could say that the Germans are currently a little vulnerable, but their quality in the middle field and in the front gives them an excellent opportunity to add another trophy to showcase their country.

Spain seeks to win the UEFA Euro Football for the third time following their victories in 2008 and 2012. The World Cup may have been a disaster for 'Red', but talents are strong enough to achieve victory again. The variety of options available for Spain, especially in midfield, shows that they are able to come up with two competitive teams.

After the three favorites comes the group of countries that are not in everyone's preferences but are good enough to be victorious. The good individualities Belgium team places within this group, but the question that remains unanswered is whether they will be able to produce a collective game at least equal to their counterparts.

The recent victory by 3-2 in England over Germany has made many see as potential winners, with a new generation of talent being supported in the national team again. Italy was not very convincing to classify, but has lineage champion, while Portugal has some young promise, particularly in midfield.

Countries such as Iceland, Sweden, Ukraine and the Republic of Ireland could consider a place in the quarterfinals as a brilliant event, while Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, Northern Ireland and Albania could be content to advance their respective groups and to the first knockout round.
